ALANINE-NHME HCL - Introduction
N-methyl-L-alaninamide(N-methyl-L-alaninamide) is an organic compound. Its chemical formula is C4H10N2O2 · HCl, and the structure contains an amine group and a methylamide group, where the methylamide group is attached to the alpha carbon on the alanine. It is colorless to pale yellow crystalline, soluble in water and some organic solvents.
N-methyl-L-alaninamide has a wide range of uses in the field of medicine. It can be used as an intermediate in the synthesis of drugs and plays an important role in the synthesis of certain drugs. In addition, it is also applied to organic synthesis reactions such as amination reactions and peptide synthesis reactions. In the research field, it can be used to synthesize small molecule compounds, or as a ligand in metal-catalyzed reactions.
The method for preparing N-methyl-L-alaninamide can be obtained by reacting L-alanine with an acidic solution (such as hydrochloric acid), and then adding formyl chloride for acylation. Finally, the final product is obtained by a crystallization precipitation operation.
Regarding safety information, the toxicity of N-methyl-L-alaninamide is low, but it is still necessary to pay attention to safe operation. Avoid contact with skin and eyes when using, and ensure that the operation is carried out in a well-ventilated place. During storage and handling, contact with oxidants, strong acids and strong bases should be avoided to avoid dangerous reactions.
